People v Robinson, 2019 NY Slip Op 01102 [169 AD3d 830]
February 13, 2019
Appellate Division, Second Department
[*1]
The People of the State of New York, Respondent,
v
Eddie Robinson, Appellant.
Paul Skip Laisure, New York, NY (Lynn W. L. Fahey of counsel), for appellant.
Eric Gonzalez, District Attorney, Brooklyn, NY (Leonard Joblove and Jodi L. Mandel of counsel), for respondent.
Appeals by the defendant from two judgments of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Elizabeth Foley, J.), both rendered May 13, 2016, convicting him of grand larceny in the third degree under indictment No. 6922/15, and criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree under indictment No. 7644/15, upon his pleas of guilty, and imposing sentences. Assigned counsel has submitted a brief in accordance with Anders v California (386 US 738 [1967]), in which he moves for leave to withdraw as counsel for the appellant.
Ordered that the judgments are affirmed.
We are satisfied with the sufficiency of the brief filed by the defendant’s assigned counsel pursuant to Anders v California (386 US 738 [1967]), and, upon an independent review of the record, we agree that there are no nonfrivolous issues which could be raised on the appeals. Counsel’s application for leave to withdraw as counsel is, therefore, granted ( see id. ; People v Walker , 157 AD3d 726 , 726 [2018]; People v Vosper , 156 AD3d 919 , 920 [2017]; Matter of Giovanni S. [Jasmin A.] , 89 AD3d 252 , 255 [2011]). Balkin, J.P., Chambers, Cohen and Barros, JJ., concur..
