People v Bodrick, 2018 NY Slip Op 06552 [165 AD3d 692]
October 3, 2018
Appellate Division, Second Department
[*1]
The People of the State of New York, Respondent,
v
David Bodrick, Appellant.
Paul Skip Laisure, New York, NY (Lynn W. L. Fahey of counsel), for appellant.
Eric Gonzalez, District Attorney, Brooklyn, NY (Leonard Joblove and Joyce Adolfsen of counsel; Masha Siminova on the memorandum), for respondent.
Appeal by the defendant, as limited by his motion, from a sentence of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Elizabeth Foley, J.), imposed September 16, 2011, upon his plea of guilty, on the ground that the period of postrelease supervision imposed as part of the sentence was excessive.
Ordered that the sentence is affirmed.
The defendant’s valid waiver of the right to appeal ( see People v Sanders , 25 NY3d 337 [2015]; People v Bradshaw , 18 NY3d 257 , 264-267 [2011]; People v Ramos , 7 NY3d 737 , 738 [2006]; People v Lopez , 6 NY3d 248 , 255 [2006]; People v Rance , 122 AD3d 949 [2014]) precludes appellate review of his contention that the period of postrelease supervision imposed as part of the sentence was excessive ( see People v Cooper , 155 AD3d 766 [2017]; People v Blas , 120 AD3d 585 [2014]).
