People v Gamble, 2021 NY Slip Op 05715 [198 AD3d 917]
October 20, 2021
Appellate Division, Second Department
[*1]
The People of the State of New York, Respondent,
v
Delsean Gamble, Appellant.
Laurette D. Mulry, Riverhead, NY (Amanda E. Schaefer of counsel), for appellant.
Timothy D. Sini, District Attorney, Riverhead, NY (Glenn Green of counsel), for respondent.
Appeal by the defendant, as limited by his motion, from a sentence of the County Court, Suffolk County (Mark D. Cohen, J.), imposed August 31, 2018, upon his plea of guilty, on the ground that the sentence was excessive.
Ordered that the sentence is affirmed.
The defendant’s valid waiver of his right to appeal precludes appellate review of his contention that the sentence imposed was excessive ( see People v Sanders , 25 NY3d 337 [2015]; People v Lopez , 6 NY3d 248 [2006]). Rivera, J.P., Christopher, Wooten and Zayas, JJ., concur..
